Layne and I realized we haven't put pictures on since Logan was born, so I am going to give the blogging a try. The time has really flown by these past 7 months. Morgan is being a great big sister and Logan has been the best little man. Halloween was a blast with the little farming crew and the fall festival seemed to be a hit with the older kiddos. Logan is now crawling all around the place and pulling himself up on anything he can find. When we put him down at night, it usually takes about five trips to his bed to lay him back down. Morgan can't wait until this thing we call "Christmas". We have taken them to see Santa twice and once she actually sat next to Santa. We are going to snow day soon at the church, so that will be a treat to see Miss Morgan's reaction.

On Tuesday May 8th our second bundle of joy arrived. He was 8 lbs. 4oz. and 20 1/2 inch's long. Amanda and Logan are doing very good. Amanda is up and walking around very well. The little feller is doing good he eats and sleeps with out a problem. We are scheduled to be home on Friday and will post new pictures as they come.

It has been a while from the last post. A lot has been going on, Morgan has been a bolt of lightning, but in a good way of course. She has been learning new things every day. Amanda has been very busy with school and Volleyball that has just finished. Now starts basketball (bonga bonga ball) season it shouldn't be to bad. I have been busy at work and trying to stay on the heals of Miss Morgan and Amanda. But other than that it is the same old thing. But we have got new news Morgan is a BIG SISTER IN TRAINING!!! Our new arrival will be due in the middle of May. We can't wait.

Morgan's First Hair Cut

Morgan got her first hair cut. Snip, snip. There wasn't very much to cut. She got a little taken off the back and her bangs trimed. Morgan was a perfect little angle she didn't cry or squirm a bit.

Places to Go

This week Emma and Morgan went to Granny and Pop's. Morgan was ready to run the roads and check the birds and squirrels out. Morgan and Pop had things to do and people to see.

I got it

Morgan goes in after the toys, forget playing on the floor.

Morgan Turns One

Morgan had a little party for her first birthday at the house. Morgan is off to the way every little girl should be "spoiled rotten." She received lots of toys from a rocking doggy to a radio flyer wagon. Not to mention the Jeep (battery powered) that Granny and Pop got her. All her toys get their use, we have to hide them and rotate them in and out.

Swim Time

At Grandmother and Papa's lake house it is time for an afternoon dip.

Banana Pudding

Granny is getting Morgan off on the right foot with her famous banana pudding.

The new lawn mower

We go to see Emma and Morgan gets to play with Uncle Travis's little lawn mower. Aunt Lindsey helped Morgan get the basics down.

All Dressed Up

Morgan gets dressed up for Easter at Grandmothers and Papa's house.

Morgan's Cousin Emma Claire

Bouncing Baby Cousin Emma Claire is here. After 39 weeks of contract negotiations, Emma Claire slid into home plate on Monday, April 10th at 2:16 a.m. at Texas Women's Hospital in Houston. Emma joins the starting line-up, weighing in at 6lb. 8oz., and has an impressive 18 inches of lean muscle. When given the "promising rookie" a clean bill of health, the team physician remarked on a powerful set of lungs, and that all 10 fingers and toes are in great working condition - ready for action. To his obvious relief, General Manager Travis Barrs observed, "She looks just like her dad." The GM has been camping out with his wife, Lesley and acknowledges that future prospects are looking great.
